My work combines needs-driven engineering, physical prototyping and embedded computing. My research interests centre on biomedical instrumentation and embedded systems shaped by defined user needs and practical deployment requirements.

About

I have a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Lagos. My work is organised around the engineering design process: how can an observed need be translated into requirements, developed into a technical system and evaluated against the conditions in which that system will be used, particularly for biomedical applications?

The question first took shape during the 2020 UBORA–UNECA boot camp, where an automated hygiene system was developed with backup modes for interrupted power and water supply. It continued through the development of IncuBed and later AquaBot at Rice University. My present hardware research applies the same thinking to edge inference, testing whether convenient complexity measures reflect the energy a deployed system actually uses. In parallel, my software research examines whether claims made by tool-using AI agents agree with independently recorded execution evidence.
